The Montréal-based company La Fille Du Laitier will present its creation Macbeth Muet during a professional showcase at the CAPACOA 2025 Conference in Ottawa. This event is an essential gathering for presenters, programmers, and cultural partners from Canada and around the world.


A wordless adaptation of Shakespeare’s tragedy, Macbeth Muet stands at the crossroads of object theatre, silent film, and grand guignol. The work has already been performed more than 175 times in 13 countries, winning over both audiences and critics with its visual inventiveness, dark humor, and ability to reinvent a universal classic.

The Macbeth Muet showcase at CAPACOA will take place at:

  • Wednesday, December 3, 2025, 8 p.m.
