La Fille Du Laitier

Theatre Delivery

About Us

One day, we had this wild, bold, and folkloric idea: to do theatre in a truck. To get closer, to show up, to surprise. To pause the routine of a passerby, even for a moment. To make it familiar, to demystify it, to spark the thread of curiosity.
And ever since, our creations have been traveling everywhere — on the street and on stage, here and elsewhere — always driven by the same desire to connect.

La Fille Du Laitier is a theatre company that makes live art accessible to all, blending creativity and innovation.

Whether aboard its theatre-delivery truck — a true mobile venue — or in more traditional spaces, each performance is designed to meet the audience where they are. Through intimate, accessible theatre, the company seeks to democratize live art and spark unexpected encounters with citizens. Its artistic approach is rooted in original creation, proudly embracing the right to madness and the freedom of imagination.
It aims to be a gateway to live art in the daily lives of citizens — a spark that nurtures a taste for theatre.

Inventive and captivating, Macbeth Muet transforms Shakespeare into an experience that is both humorous and moving.

This show fit perfectly with the borough’s philosophy: to offer everyone an introduction to theatre and to create joyful moments for passersby as they stroll through the streets.

La Fille Du Laitier was without a doubt my greatest theatrical discovery of the summer. (...) Their work is of outstanding quality and has the power to captivate audiences of all kinds. It’s a must-see — again and again!

The freshness of the concept, the precision of the message, and the finesse of the puppetry make Caisse 606 a truly promising work. (...) The blend of a text reminiscent of Tremblay’s world with the wild manipulations of these two cashiers left a lasting impression on the second edition of the OUF! Festival.

With a completely absurd tone that bordered on musical theatre, they had the crowd — myself included — bursting into laughter time and time again.
