Our impact

Making art happen where people are.

Since its founding in 2015, La Fille du Laitier has reached more than 46,000 spectators through more than 660 performances presented in Quebec, across Canada, and internationally, in 16 countries.

Our mission is simple: to make art happen where people are and create meaningful encounters between works and audiences.

We create shows for children aged 4 to 104, both in theatres and in public spaces. A major part of our work is offering free and accessible outdoor performances directly in neighborhoods and communities. We believe culture should be close to people, alive, and open to everyone.

Did you know that a first major cultural donation, between $5,000 and $25,000, may qualify for an additional 25% tax credit from the Government of Quebec, on top of the usual charitable donation credits?

Depending on your income and tax situation, the actual cost of a first major cultural donation may be less than one-third of the amount given.

This unique credit, available only once in an individual’s lifetime, helps concretely support cultural vitality while offering a significant tax advantage.
